A meeting to discuss changes to bus services in Coleorton will be held next Wednesday, March 4.

Organised by the Marlene Reid Centre and Go Travel Solutions, the event is being held at the Angel Inn at The Moor (10am-11.30am).

It comes after bus service 155 was withdrawn on February 24 and replaced by service 125.

That means fewer journeys to Coalville and Castle Donington - and no direct link to East Midlands Airport.

Organisers say the event is an opportunity for the local community to provide their feedback on how well transport currently links with employment, local facilities and services.

There will be discussions on community-led transport solutions and how these could be designed and run by residents.
