A Coalville pub-restaurant will be hosting six shows as part of next year's Leicester Comedy Festival.

Roar With Laughter, supported by Everards Tiger, will be at The Birch Tree throughout February.

There will be shows every Wednesday and Saturday nights at the Bardon Road venue throughout the duration of the festival.

It is the Birch Tree's second year participating in the established Leicester event and it says it was honoured to receive a nomination last year for Best New Comedy Venue.

The Birch Tree adds: "We have some great acts lined up and look forward to welcoming you.

"Shows start at 8pm and you could even have a bite to eat beforehand with us with 10 per cent off our food if you book and pay for your ticket in advance.

"The Comedy Festival is held in our Private Marquee and Includes a Private Bar Area.

"Our restaurant is available for food before our shows for a meal."

Acts have still to be confirmed for the series of shows - but you can book in advance HERE.
