Coalville Town will be hosting a pre-season friendly with a Leicester City XI for the first time in over a decade.
The Ravens will welcome the Foxes on Tuesday, July 23.
A club spokesperson said: "It will be the first time we have hosted any Leicester City side since August 2013, thank you to our management team for sorting a fixture which will have great interest locally."
Coalville have also announced their full pre-season programme of friendlies ahead of the new Pitching In Southern League Central Premier Division campaign in August.
They are:
• Tuesday, July 9 - Quorn AFC (A)
• Saturday, July 13 - Hinckley LR (A)
• Tuesday, July 16 - PFA Young Professionals (Behind closed doors at Champneys Ashby)
• Saturday, July 20 - Long Eaton (A)
• Tuesday, July 23 - Leicester City XI (H)
• Saturday, July 27 - Basford United (A)
• Tuesday, July 30 - Mickleover FC (A)
• Saturday, August 3 - Ilkeston Town (H)
Coalville have also announced that experienced midfielder Will Atkinson is their first new arrival of the summer, joining from former league rivals Mickleover FC.
The Ravens website says: "Will, 35, brings a wealth of Football League experience with him having played for the likes of Hull City, Bradford City, Southend United, Port Vale and Mansfield Town.
"He ventured into non-league in 2020 having spells in the National League system with Alfreton Town and Boston United before joining Mickleover FC last summer.
"It's great to pull off a signing like Will so early in the summer and we are delighted to have him on board, welcome to the Town!"
Coalville have also given fans a close season squad update with defender Ben Hart being the first player to re-commit to the club.
The website adds: "Other verbal agreements are in place but won't be released until they have signed on the dotted line."
Leaving the Ravens are Steve Towers (retired), Alex Dean (retired), Roddy McGlinchey (end of loan), Andi Thanoj (contract not renewed), Paul White (received an offer closer to home), Ash Carter (Walsall Wood), Ash Chambers (seeking new challenge) and Eliot Putman (seeking new challenge).
A Coalville spokesperson said: "We would like to thank all of the above for their efforts whilst playing in the black and white of Coalville Town and wish them the best inside and outside of football moving forward.
"Positive discussions continue with the rest of last season's playing squad and updates will be announced in due course. This summer was always going to be a 're-build' as it's the first time we haven't had a player under contract during the off-season.
"Management and club officials are working tirelessly to re-secure players and bring new targets in, but need to do this in a sustainable manner which matches this season's playing budget."
