Coalville Town FC have told supporters that their season tickets will be valid for next season at no extra cost.

The Southern League Premier Division Central's side's season has effectively been declared null and void along with those of every other club on steps 3-6 of the non-League pyramid.

Coalville only played four home games before the current lockdown was introduced.

In recognition of this, the club issued a statement to supporters today (Sunday).

The club said on their official website: "Subject to FA Ratification the 20/21 season has been declared null and void due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

"Chairman Glyn Rennocks has deemed it is only right that we offer a gesture of goodwill to our loyal season ticket holders, so we have decided that due to only playing four home league games we will honour the season tickets for the new 21/22 season at no extra cost.

"If however you prefer a refund please email [email protected] with your full name and number and the club will contact you to process, the refund amounts are:

  • Adult: £138
* Concession: £97

"We hope that both options give supporters a fair option and look forward to welcoming you back when safe

to do so

"Our player sponsorships will also carry on into the 21/22 season at no extra cost however if your player is no longer with us at the start of the new season we will be in touch and allow you to transfer to another player within the squad.

"A further update will be issued in due course to our other various sponsors as we continue to process and put plans in place as a club in these unprecedented times."
