Coalville Town miss out in FA Trophy semi-final tie after suffering defeat at Macclesfield

Coalville Town's brave FA Trophy run is over after they lost 3-0 at Northern Premier League side Macclesfield.

The Ravens went behind after an own goal from Eliot Putman after only six minutes.

But the Cheshire team only sealed the game after the break when John Rooney and Kane Drummond scored in a 10-minute spell just after the hour mark.

A crowd of 2,510 saw the game - including a sizeable following from Coalville.
