A major glass art exhibition is coming to Coalville this week.

The UK Glass Art Collective is a newly formed collaboration of 14 creative glass kiln fusing artists who share a love and passion for glass.

This is a national group which came together after participating in another exhibition last year curated by Catherine Dunstan.

Now the exhibition is arriving at Coalville CAN in Memorial Square and will be staged for 10 days, March 14-24.

But there will also be an artist talk on March 13 at 6pm - with Rachel Craig as the guest.

Coalville CAN said: "We are very excited to be hosting the debut exhibition of the UK Glass Art Collectve."

"'Nature In Glass' features artwork from 14 artists from across the UK, all working with kiln-formed glass to create unique works inspired by the forms of the natural world.

"Come along to the opening evening on March 13 to get a chance to meet some of the faces behind the artwork.

"The exhibition will be running every day from the 14th through to the 24th, so don't miss your chance to come along!"
