Coalville tip is changing its opening hours this week

Coalville tip and recycling centre is due to change its opening times this week as it switches to winter hours.

Leicestershire County Council will be changing its tip opening hours on Friday, October 1, with sites across the county closing earlier.

The County Council has said that, from Friday, all of their tips will be closing an hour earlier with sites open from 9am to 5pm.

There will be a further reduction in opening hours from Monday, November 1, when sites will close at 4pm instead.

The Coalville Tip webpage confirms the new hours as: Until 30 September, current opening hours 9am to 6pm remain, then; October 1-31: 9am to 5pm; and November 1 to March 31, 2022: 9am to 4pm

The County Council has also advised that the Shepshed site remains closed until further notice.

At the moment, Coalville's opening days at its Linden Way site are:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 9:00-18:00
  • Thursday - Friday: Closed
  • Saturday - Sunday: 9:00-18:00
