Visitors to Coalville tip will no longer have to book in advance from next Monday (July 19).
Over the past year, lockdown restrictions have been in place at the waste site in Linden Way.
But with the Government set to ease a number of Covid regulations next week, Leicestershire County Council says booking requirements will no longer apply after the weekend.
The county council says: "Due to revisions to Government guidance concerning social distancing on July 19th, we are now in a position to remove the booking system for the Recycling and Household Waste Sites on this date.
"This will mean that users can turn up at any site when it is open to dispose of their household waste.
"From Monday 19 July, there will be no booking necessary to visit a waste site, but anyone using a van or trailer, or bringing certain waste types, will require a waste permit to visit."
Recycling and household waste sites are open from 9am – 6pm at Coalville - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday.
Ashby's Lount tip is open on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Vans, pick-ups and cars with trailers must have a waste permit to visit a site. Permits are also required for any vehicle bringing in asbestos, chemicals or liquid paint.
Councillor Blake Pain, cabinet member for environment and the green agenda, said: "We're making this move in line with the Government's lifting of Covid-19 restrictions from Monday.
"However, we would encourage all visitors to our sites to apply common sense in line with Government advice. That way they will reduce the risk to themselves and respect other people when on our sites."
