Coalville's Long Lane Surgery says that fresh Covid vaccine deliveries are on their way - and that patients' second doses will soon be given.

The surgery plans to contact people in the same way they did for their first jab.

Vaccine supplies are due at the North West Leicestershire vaccination hub which is based at Measham Leisure Centre.

Long Lane's Facebook page gave details this evening (Wednesday): "Second dose Covid vaccine update.

"Great news, we have been advised that second dose Covid vaccine deliveries are due soon at the Measham Hub.

"Patients will be contacted by the surgery and booked into clinics, similar to their first appointment.

"Patients will be vaccinated between week 11-12 after their first vaccine.
