The Snibstone New Inn in Coalville is arranging a service at the Clock Tower before the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday.

There will be a two minute silence in Memorial Square - then veterans and the public will be invited to the pub to watch the funeral.

A social media post reads: "As you know, our Queen Elizabeth will be taking her final journey on Monday 19th September.

"I and the Coalville Veterans have discussed it, and it only seems right they will share this day together.

"We have arranged for a small gathering/service to be held at the Clock Yower from 10am, where there will be a two minute silence for Her Majesty.

"Following the service, the veterans and public will be invited to the Snibstone New Inn to watch the funeral together.

"Should anyone wish to attend, please be respectful and wear appropriate funeral attire.

"Anyone being disrespectful will be barred from the premises. I thank you all in advance."
