Coalville Police seize off-road bike after calls from residents

Coalville Police responded to complaints about an off-road bike being ridden in a town park by seizing the vehicle.

Officers went to Sharpley Avenue, off Hall Lane, to address the problems on Saturday afternoon.

North West Leicestershire Police gave more details on their Facebook page and said: "Following calls from residents about an off road bike causing issues on the park at Sharpley Avenue.

"Officers have attended, located those involved and now the bike has been seized."

Off-road vehicles have been a concern for police in Coalville for some time now.

They warned offenders a year ago: Police ready to clamp down on off road motorcyclists.
