Coalville Police: Man Arrested For Failing Roadside Drugs Test

Coalville Police have arrested a man for failing a roadside drugs test in Belton.

Officers also conducted a drug search and found a quantity of Cannabis.

Coalville Police revealed the arrest on their Twitter page on Wednesday.

They tweeted: "Officers out and about in Belton spotted a vehicle parked up.

"A drug search was conducted and a quantity of cannabis recovered.

"One male arrested for failing a roadside drug test!"

This follows on from a post last Friday which gave details of how drug use is being tackled in the area since more officers were based at Coalville. Coalville to get improved police presence in town

That tweet read: "Within the last two weeks local officers have executed three Misuse of Drugs Act warrants within Coalville.

"Over 40 exhibits seized, five people currently under investigation for drug offences." MP says Coalville must not be seen as a soft touch for criminals
