Coalville Nail Salon Sends Urgent Message To Customers After Staff Member Tests Positive For Covid-19

A Coalville nail salon has issued an urgent message to customers after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.
Strictly Nails, based in Ashby Road, posted an online message to inform customers who were there on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28 between 9-10am.
The staff member is now isolating for 10 days but had shown no signs of any illness.
But the salon, which advertises itself as a fully qualified nail technician. says it is an 'upsetting' situation.
Coalville Nub News has been told that the it has a 'duty of care to inform people to try and keep everyone safe'.
The salon says it has always followed Government guidelines.
Other staff members are now taking tests.
Strictly Nails told its customers this afternoon (Sunday): "Urgent Attention!!! I am writing this post to notify all of our clients that were in the salon on Thursday 27th August and Friday 28th August at 9am and 10am, that one of the staff members have taken a test for Covid-19 that has come back positive.
"The staff member in question took the test as solely a precautionary measure and has shown no signs of any illness, they are isolating for 10 days to follow NHS guidelines.
"Although none of the other staff have shown any symptoms they have now booked tests and are either awaiting tests or results.
"We are making you aware in this statement purely as a precautionary measure. To make you aware of the present situation.
"We will make further statements when the test results have been received.
"If anybody needs me to answer any questions please do not hesitate in messaging me.
"As you all know myself and girls so well, it is so upsetting putting this statement out. Your health and well-being is the upmost importance to us."
