The week takes place from July 23-August 1 and North West Leicestershire District Council has organised some free activities for families to get involved in at parks around Coalville.

The Council says: "This year, following the extra pressure that our beloved parks and green spaces have seen during the pandemic, we will use Love Parks Week to send a rallying cry to the great British public to Love, Respect and Protect our parks throughout the summer of 2021 and beyond.
