Coalville Hit and Run: Two Men Have Been Charged By Police

Two men have been charged in connection with a hit and run incident in Coalville last month, Leicestershire Police have reported.

Jed Palmer and Dyrell Parker have both been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following the incident which happened in Belvoir Road on April 13 this year - Easter Bank Holiday Monday Two men arrested after Coalville Hit and Run

He has now been discharged from hospital.

Palmer, 23, of Ross Walk, Leicester, and Parker, 18, of Thurcaston Road, Leicester, have also been charged with offences in relation to separate matters.

Both have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, conspiracy to dishonestly receive stolen goods, namely stolen motor vehicles, and using or threatening unlawful violence towards another.

Palmer has also been charged with possession of a bladed article, namely a knife.

Parker has also been charged with four counts of driving a vehicle without a licence.

Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday).

A third man, Marvin Harris, 19, of Selkirk Road, Leicester, has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A and one count of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.

Harris has been released on conditional bail to attend Leicester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday).
