A mini-exhibition titled This is Coleorton is being held today (Friday) and Saturday in the village as part of the Hello Heritage fortnight.

It is being hosted at the The Beaumont Centre, Nottingham Road, Peggs Green, Coleorton, LE67 8HN - and is open from 10.30am-4pm each day and is billed as a 'drop-in event'.

The organisers said: "In September North West Leicestershire District Council is holding its annual "Hello Heritage" festival.

"As part of that we are having a mini-exhibition with the title This is Coleorton!

"It's going to be a relaxed drop-in style event on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September at The Beaumont Centre in Peggs Green.

"We hope people will pop in, find out more about Coleorton's social, industrial, artistic and political history and share their family history and stories about Coleorton over a cuppa & cake. We'd love to see you there."
