A Coalville artist is offering to come and redecorate your home, office or building ..... using spray cans.

Tommy Goddard is based at Coalville CAN's offices in Memorial Square and is the man responsible for.the Snibstone New Inn mural in the town centre.

He is now offering to design local walls, shop shutters, event spaces, cafes, trailers and a host of other areas.

Tommy is also offering a special package of one children's bedroom for £150.

He has been working from the Coalville CAN offices since May when it opened to the public.

Tommy creates much of the group's social media and examples of his work can be seen inside the offices.

He also works with local artists with CAN encouraging local creatives to come forward and exhibit their work.

Tommy told Coalville Nub News: "I like to paint modern art if I'm honest.

"I did the whole of the Snibstone New Inn mural.

"A lot of what I do is war related, which fits in with the surroundings.

"My target is the younger people.

"The War Memorials we have are not giving the kids the messages.

"Their grandparents weren't involved in that.

"But I'm passionate to try and make a change to our culture.

"I'm looking to try and do more cultural projects in the schools, places like that.

"I think the war murals look cool, I like them.

"The Snibstone mural was aimed to be completed by VE Day this year.

"I started it on a Tuesday - it rained all day on the Wednesday - and I finished it on the Thursday.

"It was done in three days and it got a lot of publicity.

"But I also want to put some other messages out there, like anti-knife crime."

Deana Wildgoose, of Coalville CAN, said: "We need money to be able to pay for Tommy, so commercial contracts can do that."

Tommy can be contacted for spray can projects on 07496 17904.
