Coalville Foodbank Feed The Need says their £8,300 Leicestershire County Council grant has been an 'absolute lifeline'.
Feed The Need was set up earlier this year before the Coronavirus outbreak.
And the group has been providing food and essentials for those who need it.
Feed The Need this week announced on their Facebook page that they would be re-starting their weekly sessions at Hugglescote Community Centre.
The message reads: "Change is on the way....on June 18th we will be re-opening our weekly food bank.
"We will be making sure that everything is done in a safe and hygienic way for the people who come to get food and for our volunteers.
"The food bank will be held every Thursday starting from 1-2.30 pm."

They were awarded the grant by the County Council as part of their Communities Fund which is designed to help local organisations during the lockdown period.
The fund was increased from £1million to £1.5million in April due to the demand being so high.
In the end, 160 groups received grants, including Feed The Need which has been featured as a case study in the latest edition of Leicestershire Matters magazine.
Committee chair of Feed The Need, Fliss Middleton said: "We will use the money to buy food and other essentials for people struggling to manage during this crisis.
"People will be reassured that help is at hand when they need it most.
"We can be responsive when people need baby milk and nappies, food for special diets or to supply toiletries and cleaning materials to help people stay safe in their own homes while they are self-isolating.
"We are often able to respond within an hour or two of receiving a request and it's important to us that people trust us and have confidence that we understand the situation.
"This grant has been an absolutely vital lifeline for us."
The County Council leader Nick Rushton added: "The response we've had to the Communities Fund has been nothing short of remarkable.
"It's never been more important for communities to band together and support each other.
"These awards will help groups to continue their crucial work and step up activities to support vulnerable people and those self-isolating."
