Coalville Fire Crew called out as van 'leaves the road' in Bagworth

Coalville Fire Crew were called out after a van came off the road at Bagworth this morning (Wednesday).

The occupants of the vehicle managed to get themselves out and are apparently uninjured.

Coalville firefighters were also joined by a crew from Market Bosworth.

Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service gave details of the incident.

They said: "One van has left road. Two casualties self extricated prior to Fire Service arrival.

"Casualties being treated by Fire Service crews.Vehicle being made safe.

"Police arranging recovery of vehicle. East Midlands Ambulance Servuce requested to assess casualties with minor injuries.

"Fire Service equipment being made up. Crews leaving scene shortly."

Coalville Fire Staton later tweeted: "Crews are at the scene of a Road Traffic Collision near Bagworth.

"All occupants are safe thanks to their seatbelts. #slowdownforbends."
