A car crashed into a Hugglescote home this morning (Wednesday).

Police and fire services were called to the scene of the incident off Grange Road.

But no injuries have been reported as a result of the collision which caused 'substantial damage' to the property in Percival Way.

A spokesman for Leicestershire Police said: "At 10.25am on Wednesday 30 December, officers were called to a road traffic collision on Grange Road, Hugglescote.

"A car collided with a house causing substantial damage.

"There were no reported injuries.

"Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene.

"Police remain at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
