An appeal has been issued following the theft of a five a side goal from Scotlands playing field in Coalville.

Coalville Town's Inclusive Football Section posted on social media that the equipment had been stolen.

The message adds that it will stop young players in the area getting a game until a replacement is found.

It reads: "Disappointed to see someone has stolen one of our 5v5 goals from Scotlands playing fields.

"Hope you enjoy the use of it whilst we find another goal to keep kids in the community playing football.

"If anyone knows who has stolen the goal please let us know."
