Amazon Coalville staff take part in 'reveal' video ahead of next month's annual Prime Day

Employees at the Coalville fulfilment centre are at the centre of a video announcing this year's Amazon Prime Day next month.

The Day will be held over July 11 and 12 - and the business has has put its staff from the Coalville and Dartford sites at the forefront of the reveal video.

Patience Bwanali, Warehouse Operative at the Coalville Amazon site was one of the dancing stars featured in the trailer. 

She said: "I've worked at Amazon for three years now, joining during Covid, and it was the best thing I did. 

"I really feel like part of a team, I feel welcomed and love that I can bring joy and smiles to the warehouse.

"The video shoot was amazing, I really had lots of fun and enjoyed every minute of it!"

Patience has a list of what she needs, and top of it is a gaming monitor for her son.

She added: "I'm hoping to finally get a gaming monitor for my son's Xbox on Prime, he got it at Christmas and it's still in the box because we didn't have a screen for it!"

Originally from Guinea in West Africa, has worked at Amazon for three years.

He said: "I enjoy working at Amazon and I was proud to be part of the video.

"I'm expecting huge support for me and the team on Prime Day and am looking forward to making our customers happy!"

Richard Cowlishaw-Ellison, Site Lead at Coalville said: "Prime Day is a big moment in our calendar, both for the team and our customers.

"The team at Coalville were delighted to be featured in the announcement video and to reveal the Prime Day dates globally. 

"We have lots planned to mark the date on site, and are looking forward celebrating with our colleagues."
