Coalville and district residents are invited to register for a Composting Training day at Stokes Wood Allotments Composting Demonstration site, Leicester to be held on 13th May as part of Compost Awareness Week.

The training, provided by a Hugglescote Master Composter, is free to residents of Leicestershire and will help reduce the waste sent to landfill by providing an environmentally friendly, peat free organic additive to the soil.

The sessions, covering a wide range of composting techniques, are suitable for first-time and experienced composters and will also provide information on making compost teas and liquid feed from weeds.

Refreshments will be provided.
