Food store Haydons of Ibstock has had to close temporarily due to an employee testing positive for coronavirus.

A post on the High Street shop's Facebook page this morning (Friday) explained why the store was shut.

But it added that it would be opening again as soon as possible.

The post reads: "It is with regret I have taken the decision to close the shop due to a team member testing positive with Covid-19.

"Sorry to let my customers down, but the health and well being of you all and my team must come first.

"Needless to say we will be following relevant Government guidelines to re-open as soon as is safe to do so - we will keep you posted.

"Thank you for your support as always. Chris."
