Leicestershire County Council Locum Pay up to £34 Adults Social Worker Mental Health & Reablement Full-Time

Leicestershire County Council is seeking experienced Qualified Social Workers to support its Mental Health and Reablement Services on a locum basis. This role has a specific focus on reducing waiting times for people requiring assessment and intervention.

Role Overview: As part of this targeted service, you will:

  • Undertake timely assessments and care planning for adults with mental health and reablement needs
  • Work in partnership with service users, families, carers, and multi-agency professionals to deliver effective outcomes
  • Support recovery, promote independence, and enable individuals to live as safely and independently as possible
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, focusing on people currently waiting for support
  • Ensure all recording and documentation is accurate, evidence-based, and compliant with statutory requirements
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement through reflective practice

What We re Looking For:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Must have completed ASYE
  • Experience within Adult Mental Health and Reablement
  • Strong communication and partnership working skills
  • Ability to manage a focused caseload under tight timescales
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred practice

  • Locum role within Mental Health & Reablement Services
  • Full-time
  • Pay up to £34 per hour
