Economic Regeneration Team Manager

We are a diverse district with a population of around 108,000 sitting between the three cities of Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. We have great growth, and our challenge is to ensure our towns and villages evolve and renew.

This job is a great opportunity for a self-motivated person wanting to develop their career in economic regeneration, you will lead a team of 12, empowering them to support the delivery of the projects set out within our Regeneration Framework whilst keeping an overview to ensure that quality, cost and timescales are met.

The ideal person will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as economics, land use planning or surveying, be a member of (or eligible for) the Institute of Economic Development, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or Royal Town Planning Institute and have significant experience of working in both urban and rural regeneration projects leading a team of professionals. You must have good verbal and written communication skills, be innovative and creative and be able to work to challenging deadlines. You must also be able to act as an ambassador for the Council when working with external partners.

•          36¼ hrs per week with an annual salary of £52,413 - £56,687 plus car allowance of £4,140 per annum
