Contract Supervisor – 2 positions available, temporary contracts until 24 December 2027
You'll support the Asset Management Team in delivering the Council's planned investment and capital programmes. This includes ensuring compliance with construction contracts for all works that improve and refurbish the Council's housing stock. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with contractors, customers, stakeholders, and the wider team to ensure the efficient delivery of planned improvement projects. The role also involves designing and managing projects effectively, monitoring progress, controlling expenditure within budget whilst ensuring standards and quality of work meet contractual performance requirements.
We're looking for someone with proven experience in the social housing environment, whether in the public or private sector. You'll have a strong track record of managing construction projects, supervising external contractors, and overseeing budgets in a customer-oriented environment.
• 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £37,280 - £40,777 (pro rata to length of contract)
• Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working; this job requires a minimum of 3 days a week office-based working
• 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (pro rata to length of contract)
