Civil Enforcement Officer – Part Time – 32 hours per week
We are looking for a competent and enthusiastic Officer to work in our small but busy Civil Enforcement Team providing both an on and off street parking service across the district giving support and information to the local community and carrying out enforcement of relevant legislation. You will have at least one year's previous experience of working in enforcement or a customer facing role, although full training will be provided to the successful candidate. You will have the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations and work independently to carry out your duties whilst on patrol. You must hold a full driving licence and be willing to undertake training relevant to the role. You will be on a 5 week rolling rota, 3 weeks of Monday to Thursday and 2 weeks of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, an enhancement is paid for Saturday working. There may be occasional out of hours working required.
· 32 hrs per week with a starting annual pro rate salary of £23,469 per annum (Full Time Equivalent 36 hours per week with a starting salary of £26,403 per annum). Please note that the pay award is pending
· 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
