Responsive Repairs Team Leader – based in Coalville (LE67) We are looking for someone to lead and manage the delivery of our in-house repairs and maintenance service to the council's tenanted houses.

You will have direct responsibility for managing the Responsive Repairs Team Chargehands who take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of the craft operatives in the team.

The team is customer focused, requiring you to be proactive and able to find solutions to everyday problems as they arise. You must have excellent customer service skills to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with the operatives' work being completed 'right first time'. You must have a working knowledge and understanding of the relevant Health and Safety Legislation and safe working practices as well as be able to work within the policies and procedures of the team.

The successful candidate must also have good verbal and written communication skills, excellent personal organisational skills to organise the work of the repairs team staff effectively. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is a qualified tradesperson with previous supervisory and management experience; working experience of using a repairs software management system would also be advantageous.
