As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a permanent night shift basis. Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment across our production lines. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency. This is a permanent night shift role, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on all production machinery and equipment.
  • Respond to breakdowns and faults, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues before they lead to equipment failure.
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve machinery reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and parts used.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults.
  • Experience with PLCs, fault finding, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting.
  • A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Willingness to work permanent night shifts.
