Long Term Futures are seeking a committed Year 4 SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a primary SEMH teacher in Leicestershire to lead a small Year 4 class, delivering a tailored curriculum designed to support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing. You'll work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants and behaviour support colleagues to help students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) succeed.

The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Year 4 teacher SEMH with a child-centred approach
Create a consistent classroom environment that promotes both learning and positive emotional development
Work in partnership with teaching assistants, therapists and leadership staff to meet pupil needs
Implement behaviour management using trauma-informed and relational strategies
Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting planning to ensure each learner thrives
Build meaningful relationships with students, families and colleagues
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or SEMH needs
Strong classroom management and leadership skills
A commitment to inclusive practice and therapeutic approaches to teaching
