This role would suit someone who enjoys helping children learn, grow and overcome challenges. Previous experience within a school is beneficial, but it is not essential. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience working with children through other settings.

Your background could include sports coaching, music, children's clubs, childcare, youth work, activity groups or any other environment where you have supported and engaged with children.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working with children or young peopleBe confident building positive and trusting relationships with pupilsHave a calm, patient and nurturing approachBe enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needsWork well as part of a wider school teamHold a DBS or be happy to complete the necessary DBS checksIdeally hold a qualification related to children, education or young people
