Senior Management Accountant / Finance Business PartnerCoalvillePermanentTo £50kSite Based, Mon Fri The OpportunityA firm thats steeped in history, part of an international group of companies are seeking a broadly skilled Senior Management Accountant with specific expertise in Business Partnering, operational accounting ie. Labour, variance, costing, budgeting, forecasting.The RoleReporting to a long standing FC, working with the wider business , youll be undertaking the following responsibilitiesPreparing periodic financial statements, including departmental analysis, forecasts, budgets, cash analysis, variance analysis and commentariesAnalysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.Customer and production profitability reportingInventory reconciliations, raw materials, finished goods & WIPStandard cost reviewsIntercompany reconciliationsWorking with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions. This will include preparation work on acquisition requests (Capex)Ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget (monitoring)Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managersMonitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where neededEnsuring compliance with SOX & Senior Accounting Officer - (including Blackline monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliations)Internal and External AuditsStatutory Account reporting and Tax Pack analysisAssist and cover other roles within the Finance department where necessary.About You:We're looking for a dynamic and driven individual with the ability to be commercially aware and challenge the status quo. Management accounts expertise including costing goes without saying, however a broader skill set into financial accounting is also required.Youll be well adept with ERP systems, ideally SAP as there is a planned system implementation, excel proficient and technically gifted in accounting principals.Qualified would be preferred with Post Qual experience.
