Play in a Day! at The 1620s House and Garden, Manor Road, Donington le Heath, Coalville

Calling all aspiring performers!

Pull on your costume and enter stage left for this exciting Play in a Day workshop!

Spend the day with actors from Chorus Theatre and learn how to write and act out your own play in the inspiring setting of our seventeenth century House and Gardens, then perform it for your grown-ups in the evening!

The performance itself will take place in the House and will begin at 5.30pm.

Lunch isn't provided so children are encouraged to bring lunch and snacks with them. The Barn will be open at various times throughout the day (times tbc), where light refreshments will be available to purchase.

More information, including instructions on what to wear and how to inform us about any requirements (e.g. medical/ accessibility) your child may have, will be sent out via email approximately 3 weeks before the event.

Tickets for this event are £35 per child, pre-booking essential. Adults come free to the performance in the evening.

Suitable for ages 7-12.

N.B: The staff from Chorus Theatre are all DBS checked, and there will be first aiders on site. Parents/ Carers are not expected to stay with their children all day.
