Coalville Belvoir Rotary Club are organising The Coalville Community Fun Run at Snibston Colliery Park on Sunday 4th June 2023.

This will be a fun event with entrants completing a 5k or 2k course. The theme is pyjamas and onesies, although fancy dress is optional.

We hope lots of people from the local area take part including serious runners, families and even well behaved dogs. The event is not a race, so there won't be prizes for first place but everybody who completes either course will receive a medal. Entrants can choose to run, jog or walk the course, with all ages and abilities welcome. We hope this Fun Run will become an annual event which people look forward to.

Two local charities, Islastones Foundation and Hospice Hope, will be the main recipients of profits from the event this year. These charities were selected as they are based locally and provide much needed services to local people.
