Diana Ross by Tameeka Jackson (plus support act Chris Robin) at The Central Bar & Venue Ibstock, near Coalville

Captivating audiences all over the world for many years, Tameka Jackson is a natural entertainer, and a true success in the world of tribute artists, and of her own accord with chart-climbing success.

Throughout her career, she's shared the stage with international superstars. From performing with Prince's band in the infamous Jazzmines Jazz Club (in Minneapolis, USA), to singing along with the Grammy award-winning gospel group, Sounds of Blackness, Tameka's list of accolades is truly something special. Tameka's talents have taken her all over the world, performing in several different countries with Tina Turner's band. She was even hand-selected by Janet Jackson to promote Pepsi ("Ask For More") in Germany.

Here in England, Tameka has shared the stage with Roland & Curt (Tears for Fears), Shelia Ferguson, Randy Crawford, Pebbles, Janet Jackson, Jaki Graham, Kym Mazelle, Sonique, and so many more. Known also for her powerful duets, Tameka has performed with Lynden David Hall, the late Mobo award winner of "Sexy Cinderella" fame. At one point Tameka sang back up for M-People, during their 'Northern Soul' tour. Perhaps Tameka's most talked about performance stems from her portrayal of Janet Jackson in "Stars in their Eyes", in 1991.
