The lady, who has dementia, had broken her wrist. Staff working at The Elms Care Centre in Melbourne Road did not take her for an x-ray until the day after the incident despite swelling so severe she had to have her rings cut off.

Ashby Angling Club - who run a number of venues in the Coalville area - have threatened to ban anyone caught fishing at their waters during the Coronavirus lockdown.

Thieves made off with a cash machine from the Londis store in Ellistown in the early hours of Tuesday morning after smashing a stolen car into the front of the shop.
