County Council and Police & Crime Commissioner elections will take place in Coalville this May, it has been confirmed by North West Leicestershire District Council.
But it has been made clear that the council is working hard 'to make sure polling stations will be safe places to vote'.
Coalville's Century Theatre has launched The Academy @CT - which is aimed at bringing professional quality theatre and arts training to everyone.
Backed by the Arts Council England, the theatre's hand chosen group leaders bring their special skills to the sessions, offering the chance to be involved in a professional theatre setting.
