Coalville Town will be holding a 'virtual' end of the season awards evening tonight (Saturday).

The current Coronavirus lockdown brought the club's season to a halt with their BetVictor Southern League campaign brought to a halt in May.

But that has not stopped them from holding their annual recognition of what was achieved by their players during the shortened season.

And the club have made it possible for everyone involved to link up via Zoom through their computers.

However, they have issued a reminder to make sure everyone who wants to be a part of it has an emailed invite.

The Coalville Town Official Website explained: "Normally at this time of the year we are looking for to the annual End of Season awards evening.

"Obviously due to the current Covid19 pandemic this isn't possible, but the club still want to recognise the achievements of the season.

"Therefore next Saturday evening 23rd May at 8.30pm we will be holding the presentations of the awards online and announcing the winners.

"We will be using the Zoom video conferencing software. It's easy to use but if you are using an mobile phone or Ipad/Tablet you will need to go to the relevant APP store and download the APP or if you are using a laptop or PC visit the Zoom website and set up and account.

"You will need an invite via email to access the zoom meeting, if you would like to join us please email [email protected] for your invite so the link will work."
