A new rural crime team is being piloted in North West Leicestershire.
Working as a team of three, comprising Sergeant Linsey Booth, PC Emma Holmes, and PCSO Tony Gallagher will work alongside neighbouring forces, as well the National Farmers' Union (NFU) to tackle rural crime including agricultural, equine, wildlife and heritage.

An exercise programme proven to help over 65s develop strength and balance, and ultimately prevent falls, is returning with new sessions in four locations across North West Leicestershire.
North West Leicestershire District Council (NWLDC) runs the popular Steady Steps classes which are aimed at anyone aged over 65 that has either previously suffered a fall or might be worried about falling in the future.
The Met Office has issued a warning for the Leicestershire area which includes Coalville.
It says strong winds will develop on Tuesday which may bring some disruption.

North West Leicestershire Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run incident in which a man in his 70s was seriously injured after being knocked off his bike.
The collision took place in Broom Leys Road, Coalville, at around 11.15am on Sunday, 21 December.
Coalville Vixens women's rugby team are looking for new young players for their girls' section.
Ages between 11 and 17 are welcome and the club say it does not matter if you have never tried rugby before with new and experienced players encouraged to join.

Coalville will form part of the Big Weekend of Comedy as part of the Leicester Comedy Festival next month.
The event is bring being brought to you by North West Leicestershire District Council and the Leicester Comedy Festival on the weekend of 5-9 February.
