A Coalville headteacher has welcomed a hard-hitting production to raise awareness on the issues of County Lines which will be shown in 80 secondary schools across Leicestershire.

Coalville Fire Crew were called out to the incident at Junction 22 of the M1 today in which a lorry overturned in what was described as a ''multi vehicle collision'.
Leicestershire Fire Service posted photos on their Facebook page showing the extent of the crash which caused huge tailbacks on the motorway and caused drivers to be delayed on the southbound carriageway by 45 minutes.

Drivers are being warned of 45 minute delays on the M1 southbound after a lorry overturned near to the Coalville junction.
Highways England says there are four mile tailbacks to Junction 23 and that average speeds on the approach to the Coalville junction are 5mph.

Everyone Active, which manages the Hermitage Leisure Centre in Coalville on behalf of North West Leicestershire District Council, has joined forces with Arriva to create the 'Everyone Active Travel Club,' and provide ticket discounts to any of its members who travel by bus.
