Whitwick Parish Council has organised two public drop-in sessions this month to help residents understand the current Local Plan Consultation.

The draft plan is being undertaken by North West Leicestershire District Council, and it is felt it will have an impact on Whitwick.

Parish councillors will be running the sessions which will be held at Park Hall, Whitwick Park, North Street, LE67 5HB on Thursday, March 14 from 5pm – 8.30pm, and on Friday, March 15, from 9.30am – 12.00pm.

The District Council consultation covers the wider district area and will remain open for the public to have their say until Sunday,  March 17.

It is part of a six week consultation on the District Council's Local Plan.

You can find out more details HERE and the council is also directing residents to the video below.

If you would like to discuss the Local Plan Consultation in person with the District Council, a member of the Planning Policy Team will be available at the Council's Customer Service Centre, Belvoir Road, Coalville today (Tuesday, March 5) and Tuesday, March 12, between 10am and 4pm.
