The 1620s House in Donington le Heath has a number of Christmas events this weekend.

On Sunday, you can experience Christmas at the Manor.

Discover how Christmas was celebrated in times gone by! The 1620s House & Garden will be beautifully dressed in Jacobean style décor. See how preparations were made to celebrate the full twelve days of Christmas by the Digby Family.

Join in with festive carols and a mummers play, talk to costumed volunteers about food and feasting, Christmas customs, keeping warm in winter in the days before central heating and all the jobs that had to be done to ensure the Holy season ran smoothly.

What's more, there'll be festive crafts in the Barn and a children's trail to enjoy!

The Century Theatre in Coalville is currently staging its Cinderella Pantomime.

But from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday, it will also be showing an adult version.

Adult Panto is back due to popular demand for another three performances this year of Adults Only – Cinderella!

Brought to you by the award-winning team behind last year's Beauty and the Beast, this outrageous laugh-a-minute performance sees the cast throw away their scripts and present the unseen version of this rags to riches tale…

With a special cocktail menu at the bar and prizes available for the lucky individuals who complete Buttons' challenges on the night, we guarantee you a naughty night of non-stop fairy tale fun.
