It may be called the Ashby Show, but it is a short hop from Coalville and returns on Sunday - with around 15,000 people expected to attend the event at Cattow's Farm in Heather.

There are plenty of highlights for visitors, with the Red Devils Parachute team and a Lancaster Bomber flypast planned, provided the weather behaves itself.

As well as that, The Derwent Valley Gun Dog Display Team, a Vintage & Classic Car Display and the Rearsby Lodge Quadrille Team will all be there.

The Victoria Bikers' Pub in Whitwick Lane is hosting a Coalville Metal Invasion this weekend.

It kicks off on Friday night and goes through to Saturday.
