The Desford Colliery Band are back at the Century Theatre in Coalville on Sunday.
Considered one of the finest exponents of the brass medium, their wide range of styles and flexibility of performance has brought the band world-wide fame.
Comprising of 25 brass musicians with percussion, they perform a repertoire spanning Baroque to Jazz – with soloists that are some of the finest you will hear.

The 1620s House in Donington le Heath has Illuminated Christmas Carolling on Sunday.
It will be an evening of community cheer, says the visitor attraction near Coalville.
Accompanied by Ibstock Brick Brass Band, there will be the singing of well-loved Christmas Carols to herald in the festive season.
Hot snacks, refreshments and free crafts will be available in the barn.
