The Century Theatre's Christmas pantomime Cinderella returns this week - with the most magical fairy tale of all: Cinderella.
Brought to you by your usual Century Pantomime team, this year's festive treat offers a feast for all the family.
Join Cinderella and her best friend Buttons (who secretly has a bit of a crush on her!) as they work through the enormous list of chores set by her wicked stepsisters. When an invitation to the Winter Ball is sent from Prince Charming, excitement ensues –but will Cinderella make it to the ball? This Saturday, Santa will be paying a visit to the Palace in Ibstock.
Come and visit Santa in his enchanted Grotto and have fun making your own reindeer decoration.

Still in Ibstock, the Palace has We Three Kings of Rock 'N Roll on Sunday night.
This is two-hour rock and roll show that celebrates the music of three rock and roll icons: Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, and Elvis Presley.
The show features three artists who perform authentically in the style of the rock and roll era.

The 1620s House in Donington le Heath has a number of Christmas events this weekend.
On Friday, you can see the Prelude to Christmas Lute Concert.
Ayres and Graces return to perform songs, solos and poems on the themes of Winter and Christmas from the late 16th and early 17th Century.
And there will be a couple of more modern ones too!

Still in Donington le Heath, the Donington Arms is having its Christmas Fair and Santa's Grotto on Saturday.
Come along from 11-3pm for the Christmas craft fair with tables selling a variety of different items, the perfect opportunity to get some great Christmas presents.
Teas, coffees and cakes are available, with all proceeds going to the Donington Arms' toy appeal.
