Get ready for a cinematic experience like no other as the company Outdoor Cinema (previously Open Air Film and Chill ) announces the launch of its outdoor cinema tour, set to bring a diverse range of films to venues across the UK.

From the feel-good musical Mamma Mia to the action-packed Guardians of the Galaxy to the critically acclaimed Shawshank Redemption, there is something for every movie lover to enjoy.

One of the unique highlights of the outdoor cinema tour is a special screening of Shawshank Redemption in a prison setting. T

his rare opportunity to watch the beloved film in a real-life prison will provide a truly immersive experience for audiences, offering a glimpse into the world of the film like never before.

The Century Theatre in Coalville has a production of Maybe Dick on Saturday evening.

Come along for an evening of pure entertainment and big laughs on the high seas - with the adventures of Maybe Dick!

Created by John Hewer, based on the novel 'Moby-Dick' by Herman Melville and directed by Bruce Knight this is Herman Melville's classic tale of revenge and retribution, retold.

Experience an inventive, comedic adventure on the high seas from the company behind 'Just Like That! The Tommy Cooper Show' and 'Dracula! One Bloody Fang After Another'.

It's Nantucket, 1841. Ishmael signs on to the Pequod, and witnesses the perils of nature, obsession, punning and physical comedy, as Captain Ahab conducts a reckless pursuit of the savage white whale, Moby Dick.

All plots will be lampooned. All jokes will be harpooned!

The 1620s House in Donington le Heath has Ayres and Graces Presents: Now What is Love? on Friday evening.

This is a delightful concert featuring a range of Lute songs centred around the theme of love.

Perfect for a lovely Spring evening – all within the idyllic setting of our barn.

Doors open at 6:30pm, concert starts at 7pm.

The Barn will be open for light refreshments.

The Ulverscroft Manor in Markfield has a guided walk on Friday and Saturday.

As part of the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation's commitment to improving people's mental and physical wellbeing, we have organised a special guided walk.

The walk will take you through the beautiful grounds of Ulverscroft Manor, Ulverscroft Grange and the wonderful surrounding Charnwood countryside.

Come prepared and wear layers and a lightweight waterproof. Walking boots/shoes or sturdy trainers with a good grip as country footpaths can be muddy.

The Leicestershire Co-op Band will be appearing at the Palace in Ibstock with a selection of popular music. 

Taking on the themes of Blockbusters and Showstoppers, come along for a relaxed evening of familiar entertaining tunes from a bygone age of cinema and screen, with a few surprises thrown in to keep you guessing.

On Saturday night, you can join the 'Sing Loud Be Proud' 10th birthday celebration at Coalville Labour Club in Bridge Road.

There is a buffet, raffle and bar available. Doors open 6:15pm, performance from 7:00pm

All proceeds are to be donated to the Marlene Reid Centre towards Mental Health Services.
