Elm Farm at Swannington is hosting The Voice star Sally Barker on Saturday.

The veteran folk, blues artist and Voice UK 2014, Tom Jones finalist, is bringing her 'Joni, Sandy and me' show to the Elm farm stage.

Sally explores the legacy about Joni Mitchell and Sandy Denny alongside her own, while discussing their lives and the challenges they face to as trailblazing singer songwriters in the 1960s and 1970s.

There is also a Robot Building Weekend happening at Coalville CAN in Memorial Square.

The community group welcomes Mark Haig from Gizmobots on both Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, there will be robot building workshops - then, the next day, you can help build a giant robot for the CAN office roof.

Mark will share his expertise and guide you in crafting your very own robot during the workshops.

The best part? You get to take your creation home!
