Coalville's Century Theatre has a showing of the Barbie movie on Friday.

When Barbie (Margot Robbie) suffers a crisis that leads her to question her existence, she and Ken (Ryan Gosling) set out for the real world in search of true happiness.

This is described as a heartwarming fantasy comedy, and has been the highest grossing film of 2023.

Coalville CAN is staging a Woodland Exhibition at its Memorial Square offices until the end of October.

The exhibition is open from the 11th to the 31st of October at CAN HQ, open during the usual hours of 9am - 5pm weekdays, 10am - 4pm weekends.

Whitwick Historical Club is hosting a talk on Sunday about the area's pubs and clubs.

It is being held as part of the club's 40th anniversary and takes place at the Methodist Hall in Church Lane.

Heather Memorial Hall is staging an afternoon of music and are inviting pelple to get involved.

Sing, play a tune, or read a favourite poem or piece of prose, all are welcome whether performing or listening.

You can bring your friends and neighbours, 2pm to 4pm, to on the second Friday of the month.
