There's plenty going on in this weekend with the Ibstock Country Fair returning on Sunday.

The event features a Battle of Britain Spitfire fly-by as well as a huge choice of family-based attractions at the Pretoria Road venue.

The gates open at 10.30 - and Dave's Tractor Run will arrive at the show at around 12.30.

A big range of live acts will be playing live at the event which has a 12.30 start.

The Century Theatre in Coalville os showing a number of films over the weekend.

On Friday, you can see Book Club - The Next Chapter.

The highly anticipated sequel follows the four best friends as they travel to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had.

Stars Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen & Mary Steenburgen.

The Super Mario Bros Movie, Avatar - The Way of Water and Epic Tails, are all being shown.

Newmarket in Marlbrough Square is hosting another weekend of Pirates of Newmarket on Friday and Saturday.

There will be:

• Best dressed pirate competition

It is Leicestershire's biggest monthly Soul night.

This August we have two resident DJs Richard Reed and Rob Gray, with special guest DJ Sam Evans from Nuneaton playing the best in Northern Soul and Tamla Motown.

All on vinyl on the venue's superb surround sound system.
